The location made getting into the centre of Healsville easy, just a short 1-2 minute drive, and the views from the balcony deck and gardens were lovely, especially at sunset and over breakfast. We stayed in winter, but the ducted heating and split ACs kept the house warm on cold nights. Lucinda was an accommodating, helpful and professional host. She left us a lovely selection of treats and a thorough guest book with good suggestions for eating and visiting around the Yarra Valley. Gracemont itself was charming, clean and modern, with well-designed rooms. A real boutique gem, and we’ll try to stay again on our next visit to the Yarra region.

The outdoor space looking out over the rolling hills was a lovely part of my medium-term stay, and inside I had good climate control and a Sonos sound system. It’s only a three-minute drive into town, too. Even before check-in, the welcome note made entry and getting settled straightforward. Walking in to find a basket of local produce was an unexpected treat. I can’t praise this place enough and am already looking forward to staying again.

The host was excellent and always went the extra mile to make us feel more comfortable.
