Richard and Yvonne are the heart of Glen Isla. Their love of horses and the care they put into the place show in its upkeep and in the thoughtful touches that make you feel at home. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. From the warm hospitality and attention to detail to the stunning surroundings, this stay exceeded all our expectations and was truly unforgettable. We highly recommend Glen Isla to anyone looking for a memorable, first-class experience on Philip Island.

The beach is about a five-minute walk away, and from there it’s roughly 20 minutes into town. Glen Isla made a great base for exploring Phillip Island and going on excursions. Our rooms were functional and comfortable, with a nice bathroom and extra storage space. The British-Scottish style accommodation exceeded our expectations, and we enjoyed breakfast every day. Richard and Evie took great care of us and shared lots of helpful tips and local insights. We highly recommend it.

We had to check in late, and they stayed up until 9pm to hand over the keys. Then, over Christmas, we needed to leave an hour early at 7am to catch a boat. I asked Richard if he could prepare an early breakfast, and he delivered. Really great service. We appreciate the effort, thank you! Wayne

Richard and Evie were delightful and made us feel at home throughout our stay. Glen Isla House is a beautiful, cozy B&B and a perfect base for visiting Philip Island. The beach is easy to reach, with a picturesque walk into Cowes town centre. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

A delicious breakfast, spotless bedroom and common area, and a very comfortable bed made this a real highlight of our weekend away. The location was quiet and suited touring the island well. Richard and Evie were exceptionally warm and welcoming, happy to chat and offer advice about places to see and things to do. Highly recommended.
