The old trees and landscaping around this real-life castle make the whole setting feel complete. Inside, the antiques, detailed plasterwork, and carefully chosen fixtures are incredible. You can see the immense effort in the architecture, engineering, and interior design. It really feels like stepping back in time. You have to see this place to believe it. Just wow.

Ken & Nydia made us feel like royalty, with customer service that was second to none. The food, both breakfast and afternoon tea, was amazing, and the rooms, furniture, and antiques were impeccably clean, like something from a fairytale. Thorngrove has earned all its accolades for its service. The setting and grounds are perfect, and the castle and its rooms and fitouts are out of this world. You can tell this stunning Castle is a labour of love and truly one of a kind. We'll most certainly return to try the other rooms. Thank you Ken & Nydia! It's a truly special spot.

We stayed in the Tower room for our 10th anniversary, and the spiral stairwell and cosy, royal feel were just what we wanted for a relaxing celebration. My husband and I had a wonderful time at Thorngrove Manor. The care and detail throughout made it feel like living in a real fairytale. We're so grateful.

Ken and Nydia treated us like royalty, attentive without intruding. As the only guests staying, we had a one of a kind experience that was worth every penny. Thorngrove is a beautiful, enjoyable fairytale stay, a passionate love letter designed with care down to the very last detail. The manor and its furnishings are gorgeous.

Words don't do this place justice, it's simply amazing. Ken is a legend. The gardens are beautiful, the antiques are a great collection, and the dwellings are luxurious. Luxury at its best. You must visit!
