Craigie Knowe Cottage and Vineyard

Craigie Knowe is tucked away, but such a delightful place to find. Glenn and his team were happy to work with us and make the arrangements for our private function, even though it was outside their usual parameters. Flora’s restaurant provided wonderful food, and the venue was just right for our big family gathering. Thank you for a great experience.

Milo the dog was adorable and made our winery lunch feel extra special. The food and wine were excellent, and we loved the delicious dessert. Highly recommend!

The vineyard dogs gave us a lovely welcome, and the food was amazing. We also really enjoyed the thoughtfully chosen wines at the tasting. Our hosts were warm and knew their wines, which made the whole visit even better. We can’t wait to go back!

The tasting after lunch was a highlight. The list isn’t huge, but we especially liked the Pinot Gris, Cabernet Merlot, and Bordeaux style Cab Sav, and took a few bottles with us. We’d booked and were welcomed quickly, then chose an outside table under the awning on the sunny day for a nice view over the vines. The Flora’s menu is short but has enough variety. We shared three entrees, a main, and dessert, and everything was delicious and nicely presented. The servers were friendly and gave us great service. From outside, the cellar door and restaurant don’t look as impressive as some other highly rated places, but the experience itself was outstanding.
