The landscape is breathtaking, and the rooms were spotless. I finally found pillows with just the right thickness, and the bed was comfy too. Paul cooked brilliantly, especially the lamb, which practically melted in your mouth, and the delicious prawn sauce. Craig was welcoming and helpful, and made it clear he was happy to have us there. Our pups loved the place and the squad as well. Calling it heaven on earth might still undersell it. We’d definitely come back. Thanks for such an amazing stay 🙏

Paul and Craig made the stay feel easy from the start. Their hospitality was phenomenal, with genuine warmth, thoughtful attention and service that never got in the way. The five star dining was a highlight, and they made sure everything was right. The accommodation, whether the cottage or a room with Mt Warning views, was immaculate and very comfortable, with a relaxing feel from arrival. Hillcrest Mountainview Retreat in Upper Crystal Creek is a peaceful luxury escape. We can’t wait to return.

The surroundings are stunning, and we loved every minute of our stay. Paul is an incredible chef, so do have dinner if you stay. Craig is a master of freshly cracked pepper, and his steady stream of jokes keeps the atmosphere joyful and relaxed. In our opinion, this is the most charming, welcoming and heartwarming B&B in Australia. Paul and Craig make guests feel spoiled from the moment they arrive. Dear Paul and Craig, thanks again for the fantastic days. We hope to come back very soon.

The views are sensational, and there’s wonderful birdlife to enjoy if that’s your thing. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding, and Lisa’s massage was lovely too. Hosts Paul and Craig have made this a magical place to relax and unwind. We had a wonderful stay, and thank you for looking after us so well.

Lovely views across the valley, and the location is great for walks. The hosts were super friendly and wonderful, and the friendly Labradors really made the place. The food was delicious too. Would recommend it to anyone!
