One Paddock Currency Creek Winery Villas

This was our fourth visit, and we brought a big group along this time. Everyone loved it. The seasonal food was delicious, and the decor and views were lovely. The chef came to our table and talked us through each dish, which made the meal feel like a journey. A 10 out of 10 for us. Thanks to the chef and the whole team for such a delightful, delicious occasion.

We came as four on Saturday for the fixed price menu. The wait staff seemed a little inexperienced, but they looked after what we needed. The food was the star: every course was full of flavour, with generous servings, and we took the leftovers home. We sat outside with our wine while waiting for dessert, then had a delicious panna cotta despite being full. Andy, the chef, was the highlight of the day. He told us about the menu and what inspired it, and shared stories from his life and travels. He’s such a vibrant, funny, passionate person that meeting him alone made lunch worth the price, which I already thought was exceptional value. As we left, he had another story for us and gave us a bottle of wine that was part of it. Go for the food, value, and outlook, but stay long enough to meet Andy. An absolute gem 💎

Andy has a real gift for making dishes that look beautiful, colourful, and taste fantastic. The food has been exceptional every time we’ve visited. The menu shifts with the seasons, with fresh, clean flavours and plenty of Asian herbs and spices, never too hot. We’ll surely miss Andy, and wish him all the best with his next ventures.

The Saturday feed me was just perfect, with wonderful food, attentive and friendly staff, and great wine. The chef came out to talk about the menu and explain how the food choices connect to different regions in Vietnam. Such a beautiful setting, too. We’ll definitely be back!
