Elsinor Motor Lodge

We felt unsafe and won't be back. Some people seemed to live here permanently, and it didn't feel like a motel. The room next door had loud music and phone conversations going on until 1 a.m. on the first night. Parking spaces were extremely tight and not suitable for large cars. Dirty towels had been left on our beds as if they were clean. The mattress springs could be felt, and the pillows were awful. It felt like we were in the Bronx. Pics attached!

It was very hot in the room because the air conditioning didn't work. The room itself was old and dirty, with carpet stains and fly screens coming loose. The shower sounded like a steam train. For the price, this was far too much for what felt like a one-star motel, not three stars. I don't recommend it.

They gave my room to someone else while I was away for a day, then tried to charge me for another room. The customer service was crap and they were very rude. There was hair in the drain, too. Not worth the money you spend.

The room was old and dirty, and there were cockroaches in the shower every night and morning. The shower swung between boiling and freezing, with no water pressure, and its door hit the toilet when we tried to get in or out. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were so old and thin I needed four just to lift my head off the mattress. We only stayed the second night because we were in town for a wedding and had no other option. Friends in another room had blood smeared on their light switches. Parking was very difficult because the spaces were so tight. The booking experience was terrible too. I had to follow up four times to confirm it, since they kept emailing that I needed to pay even though they had my card details. We'll never stay here again. It's disgusting.
