The staff were friendly and accommodating, and had my room ready early so I could leave my car and walk to a Christmas function. Daylesford Central Motor Inn is close to Main Street, and the room was very clean and well presented. I stayed in a disabled suite. I’m not disabled myself, but it seemed to have excellent facilities for guests who need them, including a gentle access ramp and a large bathroom with step-free shower, fold-down seat and handrails. The room wasn’t huge, but the bed was comfortable and there was a kitchenette with a microwave and kettle. The car park is quite small, though I was told I could use a more open area if I wanted. If you need a simple room in Daylesford at a reasonable price, I’d recommend it.

The King Deluxe Suite was clean and comfortable, with the basics covered at a reasonable price. Customer service was great, and the location is excellent, just a short walk from the Main Street shops.

The room was clean and ready for us, with the heater already on, and the twin setup suited my son and me well. Furnishings were a bit dated but tidy and functional. Staff were attentive and the room was refreshed each day. The bathroom was spacious, though it could use an update: the greeny-grey tiles made it feel dark and the shower head needed attention. The location is convenient, but Daylesford is poorly lit at night, especially in the rain, and I struggled to spot the motel driveway. Clearer signs or solar lights would help. We had a comfortable, decent stay, and a few small updates could make this a standout option.
