The room snacks and drinks were spot on, and even cost less than I’d expect to pay at a supermarket. Breakfast was incredible too. The bed linen, decor, soap, and everything else were first rate, with the hosts being lovely as well. I’ve stayed in beautiful hotels, even ones with a butler, and none came close to this. It’s the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I’d come back to Devonport just for another stay here. If you’re unsure where to stay, pick this place. It’s special, shaped by two people with a real eye for detail, a passion for creating something amazing, and a clear love of sharing it.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with a generous spread of freshly prepared food, including tasty homemade choices and locally sourced ingredients. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. From arrival, the host made us feel welcome and was friendly, attentive, and genuinely keen to make our stay comfortable. This charming bed and breakfast exceeded all our expectations for hospitality, comfort, and value. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone after a welcoming, memorable stay.

The breakfasts were truly the best, and I only wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the location was ideal, close to the town centre but peaceful. Paul and Brendan were such lovely hosts, warm and attentive. The hotel is stunning, with exquisite furniture and beautiful antiques arranged with so much style. Their taste is impeccable.

The hosts are what make this place special. They’re engaging and gave us lots of advice about local attractions. We’d like to come back and try the high tea. Everything was comfortable and clean, from the crisp white linen and comfortable beds to the immaculate bathroom and tastefully decorated rooms. Breakfast had a huge range of finger-licking-good choices, with juice and coffee to finish. Shops are an easy walk away.
