Stargazers Escape Stanthorpe

We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and a $20 voucher for the Little Larder cafe, and Michelle stopped by to check that all was well. The cottage was lovely, especially the enclosed porch where we sat with drinks and watched kangaroos. Inside, the bed was very comfortable, the shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water, and the fireplace kept us warm. We can’t fault the stay and can’t wait to return.

The grounds were gorgeous in autumn, with kangaroos and other wildlife around. Inside, the cabins had the modern furnishings you’d expect, while still feeling like a quiet, cosy cottage. I spent time at Stargazers working on my book, and the cool, crisp weather brought brilliant sunrises and sunsets. Evenings by the cabin fire were divine. Michelle was a gracious, welcoming host, and it was lovely sharing the property with her and her family. One of my favourite places. I can’t wait to come back with my partner.

The cabin was immaculate, and our baby loved seeing all the animals on the property. We had an amazing weekend at stargazers, enjoying the peaceful setting just a short distance from town. Thanks for being so hospitable, Michelle. We’ll be back.

We had a fabulous weekend at Stargazers and would definitely come back. Michelle, our host, even took us on a wine tour. The cottage was cute, the rooms clean, and everything felt peaceful. We could sit on the front verandah at dusk without the mozzies thanks to the wraparound fly screens. The bathroom was roomy, with a large shower and two separate shower heads.
