The scenery here is stunning, and we could watch the aurora from the cottage terrace. The staff were kind and friendly too. There was even a Japanese style bidet in the bathroom. A wonderful place to stay, highly recommended.

The facilities were top quality, and the setting was very peaceful. It's only a short walk to the waterfront, and there's safe off-street parking. Outstanding.

We were sad to have just one night at Driftwood, but hope to return. The cabins have recently been renovated and sit right on Port Esperence, so close to the water. Gary was a fantastic host and welcomed us with warm towels scented with their own Driftwood fragrance. My three friends and I loved the details, from robes and slippers to the fresh orange juice maker. One of us left a few belongings behind, and Gary kindly offered to post them at no extra cost. Such thoughtful hospitality.

We used Driftwood Cottages as a base for touring and would recommend it 100%. The "Tasmanian Oak" cottage was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed, right down to coffee pods and complimentary fruit. Alex was especially helpful. There's a lovely view, and pleasant walks start across the road by the water's edge.
