Checking in and out was easy, there was plenty of parking, and the place was simple to get around. The self-contained units were handy for coming and going, and the price and location were good. But the room was pretty gross. There were noodles still on the bench and in the sink, crumbs throughout the rooms, and other random bits on the bathroom floor. The sheets looked clean, though they had holes in them. I felt unclean staying there. They needed to do a better job vacuuming and wiping things down, and it left me wondering whether other parts of the apartment had been cleaned at all. I’d recommend it with a caution about cleanliness.

The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet was worth the price, and the staff were courteous. The check-in and checkout process could work better, though. Cars stopping right in front of reception blocked the incoming traffic, and the same thing happened at checkout. Guests should park in the parking area, walk to reception to check in, then do the reverse when leaving after paying. That would make things much more efficient.

We had a two-bedroom apartment with everything we needed, comfortable beds, great reception staff, and air conditioning that worked perfectly through a 45-degree day. We paid extra for the full buffet breakfast too. It had a little bit of everything, and the lovely woman there made us feel welcome. There are lots of amenities, including three pools. I was told it covers two streets and has 168 rooms. That’s a lot to manage, and they do a great job.

The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated, and we were warmly welcomed and shown where to go at check-in. I’ve stayed in plenty of motels for work and personal trips, and this Queen deluxe room was the best for the price. Staff serviced it daily and were very helpful. The grounds were tidy, with indoor and outdoor pools and facilities. Our three days there felt really relaxing. Well done to the staff at the Cattlemans Country Motel Dubbo NSW.
