Angela took our orders and went out of her way to help with my allergy, checking with a kitchen team who were very accommodating too. She even came back to our table during the meal to make sure everything was okay. All the meals were yummy. We had a lovely evening with friends and would definitely return.

The bistro made for an easy dinner, just a short walk from the rooms. The food was great, the atmosphere warm, and the staff fitted us in on a busy Friday night even though we hadn’t booked. Our room was kept tidy and restocked while we were out, and the room service staff were lovely. We had a wonderful two-night stay at Argosy. The rooms were clean and well supplied, as were the modern bathrooms, and both the beds and pillows were comfortable. It was an enjoyable stay at an affordable price, and we’ll be back next time we visit Devenport.

There’s a popular bistro on site with a big menu, plus a bar and pokies if that’s your thing. Our room was comfortable, with a microwave, toaster and kettle, and the bathroom was nice. The aircon worked well, and we could park right outside our door. It’s about a four-minute drive from the Spirit of Tasmania terminal.

The room was neat and the location was great. I only wish there were rugs in the toilet, and you can hear a little noise from other rooms. That’s fine for a short stopover. There’s a breakfast restaurant for anyone checking out early who needs food, and a pub serving lunch and dinner. Our car felt safe parked outside the room.

It doesn’t look like much from outside, but our room was clean, modern and well equipped. For a three-star hotel, it’s a lot better than you might expect.
