Echuca Gardens Guesthouse

The rooms were pretty basic, and the heating kept switching off and on every 15 minutes in each bedroom. I loved the woodcutter cabin, apart from some bits that weren't genuine or properly attached to the property, like the fireplace mantle price. The modern glass range hood over the island bench stove was the most dangerous feature for taller people. We ended up with very sore heads, and it wasn't from partying last weekend.

We stayed at Echuca Garden Hotel with our dog and had a great time. Our little apartment had lovely wooden interiors and was cozy and clean. The person who helped us that night was very kind, and their friendliness made the visit even better. I'd definitely recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Echuca.

The apartment felt surprisingly roomy, and there was a lovely garden where we could sit and relax. It was hot in Echuca, but the air conditioning made the unit much more comfortable. Honestly, everything was great.

The garden and the murals were lovely, and Steven showed us the collection of artifacts too, which was amazing. He was a great host. I hope we can come back to hear some of Kym's stories and piano, since Steven doesn't play, lol. We stayed in the two-bedroom apartment with our smaller, timid dog. Hosts Steven and Tracey were lovely, and Jetta was friendly without being OTT with the dog. Fluffy dog owners might appreciate the pebbled areas in the gardens or the public path out the back for toilet breaks. We found lots of prickles in the surrounding street nature strips. The place had everything we needed, from cooking dinner to doing laundry. We mostly camp, so the fridge and excellent air conditioning were a big relief during the 36/38c long weekend. Both bedrooms and the kitchen/dining area had aircon. The kids have their own mobile data, so they had no complaints, though wifi at lots of places isn't great anyway. Thanks for a relaxing family break in a quirky setup with lovely gardens. Memorable :)
