Back in 2003, four of us rented separate rooms for six weeks while working on concrete repairs at the Eden Wharf. The owners then were exceptionally kind and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. I had my dog with me, and my boss arranged an extra deal with them so he could stay in my room as long as he slept on the floor. I was really grateful they let me bring him. It was winter and the place wasn't very busy then. I've stayed in motels all over Australia, but this was my favorite experience, thanks to the management and staff. The rooms were clean and warm. If I remember right, they only served breakfast back then. I've always thought it's the people you meet, more than the place itself, that make a trip memorable. I'm glad this little motel is still there. I'll definitely stay again one day, and recommend it to anyone heading to Eden.

Alan and Katrina are wonderful owners. Nothing seems to be a problem for them, and they do all they can for you. I stayed overnight in June, liked it so much that I chose it for my honeymoon. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and it had the best shower ever. I'll definitely stay again.

We got a deal for $62 /nt and were really pleased with our stay. The room had a microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, and even welcome cookies. After a long drive, those made our day because we were craving coffee and something to eat. The receptionist was very kind and told us not to worry about checkout, saying, “leave any time and enjoy.” We were 100% satisfied.

We spent three nights in a room with a queen bed and a single. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a good hot shower and effective air conditioning. Chris the cleaner was friendly and very helpful, and owner Katrina was accommodating too. We’d come back.

The shower had fantastic water pressure, a real highlight. This is a lovely little motel just across from the golf course, with clean, air-conditioned rooms. They also gave us juice when we arrived, which was a nice touch.
