Eden Motel

We rented bikes from reception for $75 per day, with helmets and locks included. A few hours exploring Eden’s hills was plenty for us, and they offer half-day rates too. Our Room 2 was spacious, with a kitchenette, and those aqua blue towels added a nice splash of colour. Since it’s closer to the road, there was some traffic noise, so light sleepers might prefer a room farther back. The bed was comfortable at first, though it started losing its shape by the second night and felt on the soft side. The bedding was light, more suited to summer, so we used the aircon’s heating function. It worked well and was impressively quiet. The shower had great pressure and a waterfall style; it got blisteringly hot, which my partner enjoyed. Check-in went smoothly. There was a small payment issue, but it was sorted quickly and wasn’t the motel’s fault. Reception staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The motel is pet-friendly and provides poop bags, a thoughtful extra, though pets cost an additional $20 per pet per night. We didn’t try the pool or gym, but they looked well maintained. A pleasant stay, and I’d recommend it.
