We loved the quiet, tucked-away setting and our modern, comfortable accommodation with beautiful scenery. Kangaroos grazed peacefully right outside, and the owners were friendly and full of helpful information. The sunset and moon are worth taking in. Wish I could've stayed longer. I'll definitely come back.

The little extras in the fridge and pantry were a lovely surprise: ice cream, juice, yoghurt, bottled water, chips, fresh bread and more. Arthur welcomed us with a quick tour, explained the climate controls, then gave us space to enjoy the stay. It was peaceful, private and luxurious, with kangaroos coming close by. Head outside at night for the stars. We had a wonderful time and would happily return.

We loved waking up to the view rolling down toward town, then stretching out on the day bed, which fits two, to watch kangaroos about 15 metres from the window and take in the sunset. The views are even better in person than in the already lovely photos, and the house's angles are beautiful, with scenery visible from every room. You can see why the building won architectural awards. Oikos is only 2 years old, yet it looked brand new and was spotless. I couldn't find a thing that needed dusting or another wipe down. Arthur, the owner, welcomed us, showed us around quickly and left us to enjoy the place. He also reassured us that nobody could see in through the windows, which gave us peace of mind about privacy. He clearly takes justifiable pride in the place. The modern, tidy kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals. We'll be back.

The house is far enough from Akora to give you real privacy, and it's a great place to escape the city's hustle and bustle. We saw kangaroos around the property on the first night, still at a safe distance, then two cows grazing near the house the next day. The views from every window are wonderful, and it was lovely seeing animals so close. Arthur greeted us when we arrived and showed us around. He was so sweet, and you could tell how much love and pride he has for the house. Thanks so much for opening it up and sharing it with people. It's an amazing place to stay, and we'll definitely return.

Arthur greeted us warmly when we arrived, and the place was really clean. We spent two nights at Akora and had a great time relaxing in the spa bath and seeing the wild kangaroos that live on the property. I was super impressed.
