I wouldn't choose this for a family stay. The rooms are clean but small, and you get a bed, bath and bar. The staff were okay, but there was no service and the hospitality was poor. We weren't told when booking that cooking in the room isn't allowed and can bring a $350 fine. There's no BBQ or pool, and they don't replenish the room water unless you ask. Rooms aren't cleaned on public holidays because, apparently, it's expensive. Why book guests for those dates then? Not a good experience.

The room had no wifi, a TV about the size of an iPad, and a cigar smell. The bathroom was old and moldy, and the staff member who received me was rude and unfriendly. It felt like stepping back 20 years. Definitely poor value for money.

We went back for a second night on Thursday, when there was karaoke practice, and it was a really good anniversary outing. On our first night, my cousin chose the place, and we were glad they did. The food was good quality and the service was great. Deb was especially funny and lovely. Five stars!

The apartments seem gutted and aren't maintained well. Mould in the showers, dripping taps and flimsy curtains that let in the morning sun. It's cheap and run-down, somewhere to book only as a last resort. Don't spend your money here.

The evening meals were lovely, and it had all we needed for a week. We might have enjoyed breakfast more if we'd been earlier risers.
