I stayed at the "Viking" Falls Creek for a week about a month ago. It’s a handy base for the village’s attractions and restaurants, and if you want a self-catering place, it’s a good option. My room was comfortable, had a good view and its own ensuite. The kitchen had more than enough facilities for the number of people there, and food storage was ample too, with separate spaces marked by room number. Parking was the weak point, though that seems to be true across the village.

I love Falls Creek, and this lodge makes it easy to balance staying in with heading out. There’s a very comfortable lounge, and the amazing featherchop restaurant is only about 30 metres away across the street.

It had what I needed: a bed, toilet, kitchen, a view, and nice people. The only small hassle was finding a parking spot, since there’s no parking onsite.
