Nightcap at Ferntree Gully Hotel Motel

The standout was being able to get meals and drinks delivered right to the room, which is a great point of difference. We were there for one night. The buildings are old, but for a budget stay the rooms are nicely equipped, very clean, and have good beds.

I spent several lovely weeks there while waiting to move into my new home. Tracy, the manager, and her team of wonderful women were courteous, friendly, and an absolute delight. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, and the care with cleanliness and little details really showed. 11 Stars! Yes, 11 Stars! Don’t miss the chance to stay as a guest, you definitely won’t be disappointed. Xxx Anne S

Getting into the city by train was easy, and we could also explore the Ranges in our car. We were lucky to get the 2 bedroom apartment. The rooms, bedding, showers, quietness, and safety were all perfect for us as country travellers. The check-in staff at the Pub were so nice. Very happy to recommend.

The pub had an awesome feed, and the pokies were kind too. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with secure gated parking, and the staff were pleasant and obliging with great customer service. It’s close to the train station, just up the road from Knox Shopping centre, and near the 1000 steps. Will return.
