We found bed bugs in the main bed and crawling up the walls just minutes after checking in around 11 pm. I’m livid. I was exhausted from a long drive and needed sleep before a 4 am start, but ended up sitting on a table all night because it was the only place without bugs. My partner is driving tomorrow and is napping in the single bed. That one has bed bugs too, though it isn’t as infested as the main bed, and he decided sleeping with them was the only way to get some rest and drive us safely. I looked at other reviews afterwards and saw that several guests had reported the same problem. Management keeps saying it was an issue under the previous management and that it’s “being dealt with,” but clearly it hasn’t been. This is unacceptable for any accommodation, especially at full price. We’ll ask for a full refund and won’t come back.

The motel servo’s lamb Rogan Josh and butter chicken were outstanding when I bought them on Friday night. You must try them!

We got into the room, found a dirty fridge, a toilet button that had seen better days and no TV reception. The key was already in the motel room. We left and moved on.

The staff were really nice, and the rooms are clean and cheap. It’s quiet, has great parking, and is kid friendly. Ask about pet friendly rooms. The food is fantastic, with sandwiches, burgers and salads, and the petrol is cheap too. For a hotel in a small country town, I’d recommend it to anyone on a budget.

I arrived in Finley around 5 pm on Easter Sunday with nowhere booked. The vacancy light was on, so I called about a room. They were friendly and had one free after a last minute cancellation. I mentioned I had a dog and could leave him in the car if needed, but they were happy to accommodate us. The room isn’t modern and could use a little TLC, but it was clean and comfortable. It’s right on the main road, yet traffic noise wasn’t a bother. There was a TV, fridge, microwave and kettle for a cuppa. Definitely recommend this hotel.
