The beach view was partly blocked by trees, though you could hear the waves from the balcony and bedroom, which was nice. The place was clean, fresh and comfortable, and good value. It’s in a great spot near the beach, shopping centre and coastal walking paths. We were on the top floor, so there were several flights of stairs and no elevator. Parking our SUV under cover was tricky, but we managed to fit it at an angle.

Being right by Main Beach and in the heart of Forster made it easy to walk into town, visit local cafes like Beach Bums, and get to the shops and restaurants. The sheltered, calm beach was great for young families. The modern unit was well cared for, with stylish, comfortable furniture, pleasant decor, amenities and extra supplies that made the stay comfortable.

We’ve stayed here before and plan to come back. Annmaree is a wonderful host, and even in poor weather the unit is just right. It feels like a home away from home.

Everything we needed was in this clean, bright place in a great location. It’s a one minute walk to the main beach and ocean baths, with a BBQ area, clean showers and toilets, and covered dining space. A short stroll gets you to a lovely Italian restaurant, a cafe and the surf club, where breakfast was beautiful. The main street cafes, restaurants and shops are walkable or a short drive away, along with boat hire, whale watching cruises and ten pin bowling. We’ll definitely return.

The rock pool is great, but parking was hard at Christmas because it was so crowded. The rest of the year it’s great.
