I haven’t stayed at Picnic Island, so I can’t say what the accommodation is like, though I’m sure it’s delightful. From my stay at Muir’s Beach, opposite the island, I noticed it’s lit up with lots of lights at night. I’m concerned that could harm the resident and surrounding wildlife. The lights also spoil the otherwise unpolluted night sky and the outlook across to the Hazards 😰
