The lights from the kitchen/store room opposite Room 12 stayed on all night and shone through the windows, even with the blinds closed. The room never got properly dark, and though I went to bed around 10:00 pm, I couldn't sleep properly until about 2:00 am. The bathroom also needed attention: peeling ceiling paint, visible black mould, mould in the shower, and no exhaust fan. These maintenance problems really affected our stay. Removing the mould, fixing the ventilation, and either turning off those lights overnight or putting in better block-out curtains would make a big difference.

Only managed one night, but it was great. The room was very clean and modern, and the check-in attendant was polite. I liked the ceiling cornice lighting and the light around the vanity mirror. It's close enough to the city to walk and avoid traffic, so I'd stay again.

The place felt brand new and looked untouched. It had modern tech, comfy beds, and a spot to plug in your phone charger. There was a bar fridge and microwave, plus plenty of tea, coffee, and sugar. A very good place to stay.

The location is excellent, with Kardinia stadium an easy walk away, and the room had modern furnishings, lovely touches, and comfortable beds that made good use of the limited space. But when we finally got in, there were several problems: a broken light switch, a broken TV with no remote, a hole in the bathroom door that hadn't been fixed, and what looked like blood in a few spots, including on the curtains. We checked in at 3.30pm, but the room was still being cleaned, which we only found out after carrying our bags upstairs to the second floor. A shame, because the room could have been lovely otherwise.

The renovation looks fantastic, with great design and style. Everything was clean and the beds were comfy. Highly recommend for a clean, comfortable, affordable stay with good service.
