Alfa Motel

The person in the room next door was loud and disruptive, and I only got a couple of hours' sleep. They'd been staying there for eight weeks, and apparently police had been called before; the owner called them again that night. The motel has long-term residents, and at 1 a.m. the owner offered to move us to another motel, which wasn't ideal. I wouldn't recommend it.

We paid $200 a night for two nights, which felt way too much for a noisy, very dated room. I'd say it was closer to $90 worth.

After hours on the road, I really needed a rest. The room was clean, quiet, and homey, with a very comfortable bed. The staff were amazing, and the price was great. Thanks to Alfa Motel. I'd highly recommend it.

I was there for two months with my eight children, and not once were the sheets or towels changed. The manager and his wife were decent people, but the owner was dirty and sleazy. On my first night, while showing me the room, he asked where my kids' father was. I said he'd recently left, and the owner tapped my bum and said, "it's because this is broken". I let it go because I was homeless with my kids and needed the beds. At checkout, he kept pushing me to hurry up and leave or pay for another night. He was rude, aggressive, and very intimidating. I won't stay there again. Two months without fresh sheets or towels, and I had a three-year-old, so you can imagine the chocolate milk on them.
