The atmosphere was nice, and the hostel has useful facilities: cheap laundry machines, cold water dispensers, and free towels. I stayed in a 20 mixed dorm that had two showers and two toilets. It’s in a great spot, very close to the main street.

Friendly, helpful staff and great value for the money. It had all you could ask for from a hostel. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone travelling on a budget.

Aynara made our stay so much easier. She was incredibly helpful and attentive, a fantastic worker and a real asset to the hostel. We had a great time here: comfortable facilities, a friendly atmosphere, and everything was well organized. Highly recommended!

The private room had a strong smell of chemicals or paint. The only working fan on the property was broken and made a loud noise every few seconds, so I had to choose between being a bit cooler and getting enough quiet to sleep. The roller blinds didn’t work properly, and the curtains had been torn off the wall. With the room looking straight onto the street, that left us without proper privacy. The bedroom smoke detector had been ripped off the ceiling. There are two ceiling fans, but both control units have been removed, so they’re just for show. The bed is on wheels and moves around. The sofa is filthy and sagging, and the bathroom floor is sandy and grimy. Don’t walk on it barefoot. I arrived early and had requested early check-in. The room hadn’t been booked the previous night, but I was told to stand and wait. The luggage storage I was directed to was an open shelf behind reception, outside though under a roof. When I picked up my bag, its front pocket was unzipped. Getting to the private room meant going past the bike storage area, where bikes were jumbled across the pathway, some broken and falling apart. You have to carry a suitcase over them. Mine was heavy. I brought up all these problems and was stonewalled, so I left. My refund was rejected, so I’ll issue a chargeback. Otherwise, that’s $1000 down the drain.
