Stay Luxe Southport by Coastal Letting Company

The rooftop pool, gym, sauna and on-site dining made the stay feel special, and the staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. I found the apartment-style room modern, spacious and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing break. Southport was a great base, with easy access to beaches, Broadwater Parklands and local shops. It was a comfortable, well-equipped stay for the price, and I'd gladly come back next time I'm on the Gold Coast.

A really nice hotel in a convenient spot, with very friendly staff. The rooms were clean and well appointed, and it's not far from anything, especially if you have a car. The light rail is fairly close too. A few things need attention: the spa was hot but green and not clean, the pool was cold, and the tiny gym's water dispenser had no paper or plastic cups. The lobby air conditioning wasn't working, so they had to use huge fans, which wasn't ideal in the humid summer heat.

The upstairs pool, gym, sauna and steam room were a nice extra. Our room was clean and spacious, with everything we needed to look after ourselves, and the staff were amazing. We ate at both restaurants and the little coffee bar. The food was great, and the coffee was even better. Fabulous hotel, and really well priced.

What stood out most was the staff. They were some of the friendliest and most accommodating people I've dealt with in a hotel, and they made a big difference to the stay. The rooms were modern, impeccably clean, a good size and well equipped. The facilities on the 16th floor and the ground-floor cafe were both fantastic, with lovely staff there too. I didn't get to try the Italian restaurant for lunch or dinner, but it looked lovely. I'd highly recommend the hotel for business, families or couples.
