Qube Broadbeach

The rooms were large and well maintained, and the location in Broadbeach is ideal, close to the convention centre. It was easy to find, and staff were friendly and explained the parking clearly. Checking in was harder because reception hours are limited, so I had to leave my convention early. Some towels were old and stained, which wasn’t great. I’d stay again for an event or holiday nearby.

The hotel is on a busy, noisy stretch of road, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you want somewhere quiet. That’s not the hotel’s fault, but it affected our weekend. My mum and I had booked a twin room and found a double bed instead. Staff separated the beds the next day. The TV didn’t work either, but hotel staff fixed it the day after. The WiFi kept dropping out and only stayed connected for moments at a time. On our last night, I’d been in the shower for about a minute when the hot water ran out, leaving me with freezing cold water. The stay wasn’t great and could have been much better. I probably wouldn’t stay again.

The location made getting around easy, with shops, restaurants, the beach and convention centre all just a short walk away, practically downstairs. Our apartment was clean and roomy, and it went beyond what I expected for the price. The reception team were lovely and helped us check in early. I’d absolutely stay here again.

We had plenty of space and the facilities were great for our two nights. The apartment was clean and seemed newly renovated. It was easy to walk everywhere from there. Finding the place took a bit of effort because there wasn’t a large sign, but we got there and would book again.
