Gipsy Point Lakeside

Birdlife was everywhere, with native shrubs and bush all around the property, which made for a lovely peaceful break in nature. Gypsy Point Lakeside accommodation is a gem: the units are private, beautifully appointed, well equipped, and have wonderful views. Toby gave us a warm welcome and was happy to help throughout our four-night stay. Highly recommended.

The lake view from our waterfront room was fantastic, and the setting was wonderfully peaceful. We stayed two nights, and the clean, bright room had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Facilities were more than adequate, and reception staff were very helpful. There’s also a little shop stocked with plenty of movies and basic essentials, including food, beer, and wine. The in-room information about local attractions and wildlife came in handy too.

Stephen, the friendly manager, helped us a couple of times, including with our internet connection and suggestions for walks and places to explore around Mallacoota. We spent five fabulous days at Gypsie Point Lakeside in a luxurious, fully appointed apartment, with a pool and our own BBQ on the deck overlooking the inlet. We’ll definitely be back, and stay longer next time.

Our well-appointed apartment was a lovely place to stay, and we felt privileged to experience somewhere so special. It sits in a garden of native shrubs, surrounded by forest beside the Genoa River, with wildlife teeming all around.
