The valley view from the room really made the stay. It was spacious and lovely, with a big ensuite and double shower. Harvey and Lianne were wonderful hosts and had everything we needed, nothing seemed like too much trouble. We only stayed one night, but it was relaxing and enjoyable. We'd highly recommend Cleggett Estate to anyone visiting the Gisborne area. Thanks, guys!

The hosts were delightful, and the hospitality was five star. We've stayed in places all over the world, but haven't come across such thoughtful details before. It was a lovely surprise, and amazing value. I can't say enough good things about this place.

The room was spotless and really comfortable, and the property had everything we'd need away from home. Harvey and Leanne made us feel so welcome and were very warm hosts. Booking two nights at Cleggett Estate turned out to be a great decision. We had a delightful stay and hope to come back :)

Breakfast in the main kitchen and living room was a lovely way to start the day, with beautiful views across the property. We also had friendly, interesting conversations with Harvey, Leanne, and the other guests, which made everything feel especially relaxing. The room had more than we expected, and the underfloor heating and incredibly comfortable bedding made it tempting to stay in all day. We were already feeling so rested by daybreak. Harvey and Leanne have taken care of every detail, and their warm welcome made the stay such a pleasure. 11 out of 10. We can't thank you enough. Keep doing what you're doing! Lisa & Cam.

I was struck by how quiet it was here. The room was great, with a very comfortable bed, and the property was really clean. Harvey and Leanne were welcoming, and breakfast was more than I could finish. A very pleasant night.
