The Gisborne Peak Team were professional, communicated just right, and kept things rolling. It's a hidden gem in the wilderness, with a paradise-like feel where heaven meets earth. The ambience is amazing, and it has the convenience and peaceful setting you'd want for a romantic getaway. I'd recommend staying here anytime to anyone looking for a fulfilling experience.

We had a lovely lunch at Gisborne Peak, with indoor or outdoor seating overlooking the lake. The menu is limited, but the shared platter was tasty and the woodfire pizza delicious. Staff were friendly and the customer service was great. You can buy wines to enjoy with your meal, and wine tasting is available to purchase at the cellar door. There is accommodation on site too.

It was a cozy place, and I'd happily recommend it to friends and family. The wine was superb, with generous pours, and the chocolate lava cake was gooey and delicious. We came on a weekday, so it was nice and quiet. The service was amazing, and the lovely woman serving us even offered to take our photo.

The food was delicious and well priced, and Linny and Lynn in the restaurant greeted us with lovely smiles and great service. They went out of their way to tell us about local experiences, things to do, and places to visit. We also stayed at Gisborne Peak Winery. The accommodation was pretty average, and a few things need work and revamping. Still, we enjoyed our short, sweet stay and didn't let it bother us too much. We'd definitely return for the restaurant.

We booked a table online for Sunday lunch. The cafe is in a lovely area and has quaint decor. We shared a large grazing platter and wood fired pizza. It was delicious, especially the Turkish bread and pizza, though the food was on the pricey side. The pizza was small for $22, and the coffee was good. Staff were friendly and served us with a smile. There are unisex toilets on site and plenty of parking, but they don't split bills. Cottages are also available to rent on site.
