The woman who welcomed me was warm and lovely, and her customer service was faultless. The room looked clean and presentable, but the rest of the stay was a letdown. The bed was uncomfortable, the shower swung between freezing and scalding, and the air con ran for a couple of hours before stopping and dripping loudly for most of the night. Cigarette smoke from other guests was all I could smell, which was unpleasant as a non-smoker. It’s good that the place welcomes animals, but barking dogs woke me when I was travelling for work.

We found this a good-value stopover, and would happily stay again. The owners made things easy for our family by arranging a trundle bed and offering a pet bed for our new puppy. The room had what we needed and stayed lovely and warm in the colder weather. Highly recommend.

We were travelling with our dog for the first time, and had a really enjoyable stay. The room was comfortable, clean and the service was great. There’s a lovely area for dogs to wander, too. Good value for money, and we’ll be back. Thanks for having us, I’d recommend it.

The beds were comfortable and the grounds were neat, with a good space out back for pets. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cleanliness needs work, though: the bathroom was very dirty, the carpets needed vacuuming and there were stains on the bed covers. The free Wi-Fi didn’t work.
