The Edge Villa

I stayed two nights at the Edge Villa for my husband’s birthday, and we had a wonderful time. It’s a beautiful villa, clean and well maintained, just as described and shown in photos on Google and booking sites. I’d stayed at another nearby villa a couple of years ago, but Edge Villa is newer and cleaner, and the sound insulation is much better. That matters because the sounds of nature are louder than you might think. I’d recommend it to couples looking for a relaxing vacation.

Tina made everything feel seamless from booking onward and went above and beyond. We arrived to a lovely luxury spa product pack, Veuve champagne and strawberries on ice by the spa, plus a bottle of Hunter Valley Shiraz and chocolates by the fire. Those extras can be added with a click when booking. And the rose petals, I can’t forget those! The drive to the villa was picturesque, along smooth, well-kept dirt roads without potholes. Inside, it was pristine, beautifully styled and equipped with everything we could want for a luxurious couples’ getaway. The villa felt warm, serene and like our own private slice of paradise. The grounds are breathtaking. Take a peaceful stroll or relax under the cabana with a cuppa or glass of wine, listening to the birds and the nearby natural waterway. It’s secluded and off-grid, a lovely place to switch off, reconnect and recharge. Tina also put us in touch with Mandi from Heavinly Hunter Massage, who came to the villa for a one-hour couples massage. It was total bliss and a highlight of our stay. Tina was a huge help while I planned a proposal at the edge villa. She kept me updated and helped with the arrangements, activities and our stay, which I really appreciated. My partner cried happy tears walking through the door. The villa is stunning, feels like home as soon as you walk in, and has all the bells and whistles. It’s in a peaceful part of the Hunter I hadn’t stayed in before. Sitting on the back deck watching kangaroos graze was hard to beat. We couldn’t be happier with our stay and highly recommend the edge villa. We’re already planning to return within six months. The only downside is that it’s so nice you might not want to leave.

We spent two nights at the Villa for our wedding and felt at home right away. It’s stylish and comfortable, like a home away from home in a stunning setting. The creek is magical, and we loved spotting all the little birds and other wildlife. The hosts were so helpful with our wedding. Tina and Phil went above and beyond with setup and pack down, and Tina supported me when our family and friends were running late. It felt like having an extra friend there to help however we needed. If you’re considering the property for an elopement or special occasion, don’t hesitate.
