The valley view was breathtaking, and the cottage was spotless and clearly well cared for. We spent two nights there and loved every minute. Joe and Chris were such warm, lovely hosts.

The breakfast Chris made each morning was a real highlight, and we loved the spa built into our room. We only booked two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. There’s so much attention to detail throughout the house, and the mountain setting gives you those incredible valley views. It’s also close to Coles, Aldi and cafes. We’ve been visiting the Hunter region for 5-6 years, and this is the best place we’ve stayed there. Bimbadeen mountain retreat is a hidden gem. Chris and Joe are lovely hosts and have taken great care of the property. It would suit a romantic getaway or a family trip. Thanks for such a great experience, Chris and Joe.

It was just right for a break from city life. Chris welcomed us so warmly, and the mountain top setting has beautiful views in every direction. A lovely place for a relaxing vacation.

The valley and hill views are beautiful, and we were warmly welcomed. Still, our stay left a bad taste. I was disappointed that Chris took our suggestions about improving the cottage personally. She confronted us about not giving her a good review, which made both my partner and me uncomfortable and felt very unprofessional. Constructive criticism should be accepted in hospitality. At $260 a night, I expected somewhere to hang our clothes, but there was no wardrobe. A full-length mirror was also missing. The shower knobs need replacing, and the water pressure was too strong. There wasn’t enough toilet paper, and no soap or other toiletries. We would have asked for these, but the interaction with Chris had already made us uncomfortable. Breakfast was very basic, though we still enjoyed the view while eating it.

A peaceful spot for a little weekend break, with lovely places and attractions just a short drive away. We loved our stay. The accommodation was fantastic, and having breakfast included was a real bonus. We’d happily recommend Bimbadeen and stay again.
