It was wonderfully peaceful, and I loved watching Australian native animals wander around while I lounged in the hammock. Mount View wineries are very close, and the major wineries are a 20-minute drive away. Jannene and Brett were friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout my weekend at Cottages on Mount View. The cozy cabins were well equipped, with private spas and fireplaces. It was everything I’d hoped for in a relaxing Hunter Valley getaway, and I’d recommend it.

The thoughtful touches really made our couple of nights here. We arrived late in the evening to find the cabin lights on, the fireplace ready to light with a match, and a generous, delicious breakfast hamper. You can tell the owners care about being great hosts. The cabins are well laid out, the location is great, and the spa was fun. It was also wonderfully peaceful and tranquil. Can’t wait to go back.

The two-bedroom cottage with a spa was such a delight. We got two mornings of breakfast out of the plentiful basket, and even used some of it for dinner. The bellbirds were lovely to listen to, and on one occasion we had a possum visit. It felt like we were well away from the hustle and bustle, but still close to the vineyard, which was a win for us. I love visiting the "Hanging Tree" and will try out the "Petersons" Estate next time. Give this a try, you won’t be disappointed 💕🍷

Such a lovely cottage in a beautiful spot, and it would work well for a family or a couple. The hamper had so many delicious goodies. We also loved the wood fire and spa.

We had a really nice long weekend, with beautiful surroundings and a hot tub that was perfection. The owners were fabulous with my toddler, who loved the chickens. It’s close to Pokolbin, and there are some yum places to eat in Cessnock too. Definitely recommend!
