Bella Mare Apartments

The apartment was clean and tidy, and the location across from the beach was good. But for the price, I think there are better options nearby. We had to ask for a garbage bin because there wasn't one in the room. The website notice said there was external construction in the Rainbow Bay area and that we might hear daytime noise. In reality, an excavator with a jack hammer was about 50m from our bedroom, working from 6:30am, including Saturday. The constant hammering all day was a lot. I understand the work was outside management's control, but when we contacted the Manager's Office, they did nothing and seemed dismissive, like they didn't care. Update: the picture clearly shows it was less than 50m away. Please update your reply.

Our holiday was something we'd been looking forward to, but this place was a huge waste of money and wrecked it. The room had a horrible smell and the wifi barely worked. They also didn't warn us when we booked that the large apartment block right next door was being demolished, and it was unbearably loud. We went to check in at 2pm, the check-in time. The woman at the front desk was one of the rudest people I've come across. She said the room wouldn't be ready for another hour and didn't apologize once.

They found a way to give us a lovely view. I’d left a note with our booking asking if that was possible, and at check-in they offered us two choices. The service was so friendly and accommodating, and the location is brilliant. Highly recommend!

The apartment itself was outstanding, and the staff were very friendly. Its location was great too. We knew when booking that apartment 49 involved a lot of stairs, but hauling our suitcases and shopping up was hard work. At least I reckon we came home fitter than when we arrived 😀
