Breakers North Absolute Beachfront Apartments

We came during the October School holidays with our two kids, 13 and 8, and had an absolutely great experience at Breakers North Apartments. The tennis court, pool and rooms were fantastic. Easy beach access and the Life Guard tower out front have made this an annual trip for us. The staff and service were lovely, and we're very thankful for the hospitality. 10 out of 10, would recommend for an individual, couple or family holiday.

For our family trip for my husband's birthday, we booked and paid for all four apartments for our separate family groups. My husband and I stayed in the Ground Floor 2-bedroom Deluxe Beachfront Unit, which was a fantastic spot for the celebrations. Our stay was from the 22 - 27 Sept 2025. I'm only writing now as we recently got home from travelling. Before coming, I'd read and responded to reviews about problems, and took the owners' replies into account. It's reasonable to expect an acceptable level of cleanliness in every room. Saying good reviews outweigh bad ones so all rooms must be okay is untrue and unacceptable. Our adult children didn't want to complain during the special occasion, as they didn't want to seem ungrateful or spoil it. We didn't see their rooms until later, when everyone was gathering in our well appointed apartment. We had understood the three 2-bedroom Ocean View Apartments booked for the children would be to the same standard. They weren't, and we were immensely disappointed to find two were below an acceptable standard. Owners of Apartments 11E & GB, your apartments were comfortable, modern, well equipped and very pleasant. Apartment 4D was smelly, with dirty carpets, old outdated furniture and a generally dismal feel. Most importantly, the ensuite had no door, leaving parents and children without privacy. Apartment 5C was dangerous, with plugs hanging off the wall, peeling ceiling paint, dirt, mould, tired old furniture and an evident need for renovation. The owners of these apartments didn't reply to two earlier emails, which is disappointing.

Reception made it easy to arrange an extra night, and the service was friendly. I was staying in a new 2-bedroom apartment at The Residence Star Casino, but the rooms were tiny and the kitchen had nothing to make a decent meal with. The 2-bedroom Breakers North apartment was twice the size, very clean despite the building's age, and had everything I needed to cook whatever I wanted. I'll definitely stay again.

We had a great week in 7b and enjoyed every minute. The view was amazing, and the spotless 2-bedroom apartment had everything we needed, including a washing machine, dryer and two bathrooms. The kids loved the pool, and because it was heated they could swim every day whatever the weather. Beach access was excellent too. Getting to Surfers and Broadbeach was easy by light rail or on foot. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. This is a great family holiday spot, highly recommend.
