I’m using this as my base while I look for a rental house, and it’s been perfect for that. It’s close to cafes, restaurants, surf clubs, the beach, Coles, Aldi and more. My friend sent me the link, and I feel lucky to have found it. It’s a cute, relaxed 60s California-style place, and the management makes comfort the priority. Nothing seems like a drama. It’s dog friendly, which is a huge bonus for me with my two dogs. The rooms are spotless, comfortable and nicely styled, each with its own touches. Shared spaces include a lovely kitchen and lounge, a washing machine, and a sweet outdoor area with seats and a hammock. Fairy lights along the building and tea lights set out each evening make the place feel cosy. I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you!

A minute’s walk from the beach, and really good value for the price. It’s a simple, basic little motel, with rooms of standard motel size and quality, but ours was clean, well equipped and well maintained. There’s a lovely atmosphere too.

We planned a three night visit and ended up staying for two weeks. The motel room was surprisingly spacious, and we also made good use of the shared kitchen and lounge. Linton, the manager, gave us heaps of information and was happy to help with anything. He even lit tea lights around the motel every evening, which I loved. The location is fantastic, and we enjoyed getting up to watch the beautiful sunrises. A quaint little retro gem, and so accommodating for us and our two dogs.

Linton helped arrange a loving home for my two therapy cats while I was in a Domestic Violence Survival situation. I’ll always recommend this place. It’s close to the beach, where I could walk and breathe, and the building felt safe and secure, with security cameras online 24/7. Loving and safe when life throws you struggles with control freaks. 🥰🌊

Burleigh Break is in a great spot, with amazing beaches at the end of the street, fantastic places to eat across the road, and an excellent farmers market on Saturday. We love staying here with our dog, and the whole experience gets five stars from me. The room is always clean and comfortable, and host Linton is friendly and very helpful.
