The views of the mountains and coastline were priceless, and getting onto the M1 for the theme parks was easy. We had plenty of room in our three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in the Northern Tower, and the staff were amazing and friendly. One staff member even jump-started our car, saving us hundreds of dollars. It was a wonderful place for two adults and three kids, with the beach just across the road and a flagged area usually close by. Bring body boards, the beach is lovely to swim at, and the afternoon cloud colours are breathtaking.

The apartment was bright and airy, with lovely decor and a beautiful ocean view. It was spotless and had everything needed for cooking. The town, cafés, restaurants and groceries were all close by. The pool and gardens were lovely too, and the staff were kind and helpful.

The indoor heated pool and spa were the highlight for us, and our daughter spent most of her time there. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, and waking up to the ocean view was lovely. There’s a kids’ park directly across the road, and the surf club is a couple hundred metres’ walk for dinner. The room was modern, clean and really nice. We loved our stay and are already checking when we can come again. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay until we got home and realised we’d left our baby monitor in the room. My wife and I were there with our two boys, and we really need it at bedtime. The location was fantastic, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. When we called about getting the monitor back, staff were inflexible. They said we had to mail the hotel a prepaid return bag first, and if it didn’t arrive within five days, they’d discard the device, which is worth a couple of hundred dollars. It felt like a strange policy that put us in an awkward position, especially after an otherwise nice stay when we were trying to do the right thing and pay for postage. Usually this is handled with a credit card authorisation form. If the hotel reconsiders this approach, I’d be happy to amend my review.
