The reception ladies were always friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect with stunning views. We stayed in October and November and were very happy. When a leak, possibly from another apartment, flooded ours, management went above and beyond, dealt with it promptly, and upgraded my daughters and me to the “penthouse”. I’m forever grateful my daughters got to have this experience, which I otherwise couldn’t have given them.

The location was good, but we couldn’t bear staying any longer and left three days early. Cockroaches were everywhere, some lights didn’t work, and one of the switches gave me an electric shock. The apartment felt outdated, and renovations upstairs meant banging from 7am all day.

The shared facilities were clean and pleasant to use, and the location was great. Our two-bedroom apartment was very spacious, but could have been cleaner and wasn’t well equipped.

The spa was the main letdown. It wasn’t hot at all and felt like a cold bath. Apart from that, it was a good short holiday experience, with simple, nice rooms and friendly, great staff. The apartments are pretty good, though there’s some usual wear and tear around the building. I’d recommend it as a budget hotel for a short break.

We’ve stayed at the Grosvenor three times now and will definitely come back. The view was great, the staff were fantastic, and Barbie is a really nice lady. The apartments were pretty good, too. No complaints from us.
