The pool was lovely, warm even on cooler days, and very clean. The site manager on duty sorted out a small problem right away without any fuss. Staff were super friendly, and the place was clean. It's affordable and not horrible, with shops close enough for grabbing last minute snacks. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Thanks to the friendly staff :)

We had a lovely lake view, and the rooms were quite large. Jamie at reception was really friendly and helpful, and we loved staying here. The location was stunning. We'll be back soon.

The location makes it easy to get around the south east, and Coolangatta and Tweed Shire aren't far. I love staying at the Bay of Palms when I visit Queensland. The rooms have always been clean and tidy, and there's a lovely lake to walk around, with beautiful black swans greeting you. The gentleman at Reception is welcoming, lovely, and has a great sense of humour. I highly recommend a stay at the Bay of Palms 🌴 👌

The room looked lovely when we arrived for the budget price, and the location is pretty great. But the thin curtains let in lots of bright light at night from the main area around the pool. The floors and walls are so thin that I could hear full conversations next door, plus the bodily functions of the people above us. Honestly, that was pretty revolting. Pack earplugs and an eye mask if you stay.

The reception staff were fine, but I suspect they need to take a serious look at who they hire to clean the rooms. The bench was dirty and unwiped, and the towels looked like they may have already been used, hung messily as if someone had just used them. The pillows were random and very uncomfortable. There was noise all day from children in the pool, pot smokers behind the back door, and noisy families outside the doors. Respect and peace don't exist here. The price is sky high for what you get. Ibis Hotels look five star next to this. I'll never come back. The only good thing, for some people, might be the location near shops and the beach. I'm posting here because Booking.com won't let you leave reviews at the moment.
