When we arrived, the fan would only run at full speed, and the washing machine didn’t work, along with a few other issues. The woman couldn’t offer us another room but promised to refund two of our three nights. Weeks passed with no refund, so I contacted her to ask why. She gave me the wrong email address, but we managed to work out the mistake. I followed all her instructions and heard nothing. After following up again, I was told to wait until the end of the month. When the end of the month came, only one night had been refunded. If you promise to refund two nights, don’t then refund just one. That’s dishonest, and there’s no point lying about it. This was all handled by SMS, so if there’s a reply, I’ll post the messages showing she flat out lied to us. It wasn’t a miscommunication. We’ll be disputing the charge with the credit card company.

Dee and Shirley make every stay feel special. They're always friendly, helpful, and happy to make sure you're comfortable. Meridian Towers is clean, has a great view, and sits close to good restaurants and the Kirra Beach Hotel. It's my go-to on the Gold Coast. 😎👍😍

The room was spotless, the cleanest I've ever stayed in. Huge thanks to the cleaning staff. We also loved the stunning views and the warm, engaging reception team. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💕

That balcony view was the highlight, and the beach is just a one-minute walk across the road. It felt wonderfully quiet compared with the busier beach about 10 minutes away in the main hub of Coolangatta. A lovely little Gold Coast find if you want a break from the more tourist-oriented parts of Surfers Paradise. We ended up here at the last minute after our flight was cancelled. Maggie at reception was incredibly kind and helpful, even though we checked in late, and she suggested some nice places to eat. Our two-bedroom unit was super clean and had everything we needed, including a washing machine and kitchen. It was a little aged in that lived-in way, though. I forgot to take photos, but there are other reviews you can look at. Great stay all round. 5 stars!

Good value for a place close to Coolangatta, with clean, roomy spaces and useful amenities. The sheets were the letdown: they were so threadbare and thin they had holes in them. At $360+ a night, I'd expect decent bedding, even for a two-day stay.
