I had a good time and even extended my stay. The woman on the phone was really rude and didn’t seem to enjoy working there, which might explain the 3.7 star rating. 😂 For the money, though, it’s hard to argue with the value. Book early and you might get a room for under a hundred, with so many services.

The complex is in a good location, and the pool is a good size with a clean surrounding area. Lijo at reception was polite and helpful. The bed was comfortable, too. The room was horrible, though. The shower hose was broken, the fridge was disgusting and frozen over inside, and the area around it was filthy. It hadn’t been cleaned properly, with dust, food stains up the wall, a dirty verandah, and a safe that didn’t work. There was no milk or tissues. I can accept an old room, but not a dirty one. It’s in disrepair, and the furniture and wardrobe doors need updating.

The staff were really nice and helpful, and they found solutions when things came up. The location is great, but the rooms are a bit tired. There were tiles and pot paints in the kitchen cupboards, only three forks for four people, and the dryer was broken. Bring your own dishwashing soap and washing powder.

One night was already too many. If I could have, I’d have asked for a refund and left. This was the crappiest hotel experience I’ve had, and booking here feels like a risk. Based on the reviews, some rooms seem better than others, but I got a disgusting, badly maintained one that shouldn’t be rented in its current state without warning. The room was dirty and damaged everywhere: carpets, walls, doors, frames, sliding glass doors, fly screens, skirting boards, edges and crevices. The balcony was dirty when I arrived, the tables were dirty, one had bird poo and two were sticky, and there was a completely broken chair. The fan and light had fallen apart, the carpet was frayed and lifting, and the toilet seat was broken. Some wall holes had been filled but never painted over. The old furnishings were worn, the sliding door frame was coming off the wall, and the kitchen pans should have been thrown out long ago. The whole place felt hot and muggy because there was no air con in reception or the walkways. The staff came across as unfriendly and careless, ignored greetings, and acted like I was a bother. The walls were thin, so I heard cars and neighbours all night. I don’t understand the $200 deposit when the room could hardly be left in worse shape and they don’t seem to invest anything in it. I tried to switch to a nicer room that was available online, but their phone line didn’t work for hours. When I got back, that room had been booked minutes earlier. I then found out they had blocked private calls but didn’t tell guests. It was a poor experience from the moment I arrived.
