The apartment was spotless, with fresh sheets on the beds, clean bathrooms stocked with toiletries and plush towels, and a thoroughly cleaned kitchen and fridge. The place felt calming and stress-free, and every room was incredibly clean. The admin and management staff were welcoming and treated us with respect. Everything we could need was provided, the couches were really comfy, and the outside area had a lovely view. Great aircon too, whatever weather the Gold Coast throws at you. Highly recommend staying here! 😊☀️

Jack made sure we understood how everything worked and what facilities were available, and helped with every request so we were comfortable. The rooms were lovely, clean, quiet, and nicely presented.

Reception wouldn’t offer any help when we arrived to find our confirmed, fully paid Booking.com room unavailable because of flooding. They directed us back to Booking.com and took no responsibility, and even refused to give us a simple written note confirming the room couldn’t be provided. That made it much harder to arrange somewhere else to stay. I understand flooding can happen unexpectedly, but the way staff handled it was extremely disappointing. There was no offer of alternative accommodation or other assistance. The lack of care and professionalism has put us off booking here, since there seemed to be little accountability when something went wrong.

Surfers Paradise was an easy 15-minute walk away, and we got around using only public buses and trams. We booked a week at Peninsular Residences Gold Coast during our Gold Coast visit two weeks ago. It felt like a safe place to stay, the owner was really helpful, and we enjoyed our time there.

The jacuzzi and spa were a big part of why we booked, but neither was working. The apartment also had visible dirt and hair in the bathroom, and the kitchen was missing basic items. When we raised these problems, the response was unprofessional. A very poor stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it.
