Silverton Holiday Apartments

Linda was so helpful and accommodating. The apartment was in excellent shape and very clean, with super comfy beds. It was spacious and relaxing too!

The riverside views, pool and location were highlights, with the beach, tram station, shops and restaurants all close by. The apartment had everything we needed, and the customer service was excellent. When we raised the smell in our original room, especially in the main room where we didn't even want to sleep, the manager was really nice and understanding and upgraded us to another room that was so much better. My partner and I stayed 6 nights, and it was good value for what we paid. The biggest downside was how outdated and old the motel is. It urgently needs redecorating or renovation. Still, we really enjoyed the stay.

The view was lovely, and the apartment had plenty of space, including a large main bedroom, a decent-sized second bedroom with two beds that could be pushed together, and a laundry. The pool looked clean, though I didn't use it. Cleaning was the problem: there was water on the toilet seats, coffee left out, and opened milk and drinks in the fridge. It felt like someone had used the place for a tea break and left things behind, and it didn't seem professionally cleaned. I'd recommend it, but next time I'd make sure it was properly cleaned and sanitised first.

We stayed for nearly a week. The location and view were nice, and the apartment was roomy, but the furnishings and rooms felt dated and there was an unpleasant smell. It was very basic, though for the price I can't complain too much. Kitchen appliances were there, along with a pool and spa and free parking. Tea and coffee were provided, but no milk.
