Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach

A beautiful card and a generous upgrade to an ocean-view room were a lovely welcome. Mayra from Reservations had already set things up well with a thoughtful call before we arrived, and Tariqur at the Front Desk was warm, attentive, and gave impeccable luxury service. He really seems made for hospitality. Lucas, the Front Office Manager, was especially kind and generous, and his leadership clearly comes through in the team. Our stay at the Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach was seamless and memorable. We'll definitely be back.

We loved spending the evening on the balcony of our fabulous 21st-floor room, looking out over the water with a few glasses of wine. The room was spacious and well designed, and the separate work area was just right for the few hours I needed to use my laptop. Staff were courteous, helpful, and genuinely positive, while the lobby felt warm and welcoming. Parking was easy, at a flat $39 per night, and the food and cocktails were quite good. My first stay at Sofitel Gold Coast went really well from start to finish. We visit the Gold Coast often and would definitely consider staying again.

The location is so convenient, with some of Broadbeach's best restaurants nearby, a supermarket and shopping centre below, the beach a one-minute walk away, Pacific Fair five minutes away on foot, and the airport under a 30-minute drive. The rooms were clean and the beds insanely comfortable. Breakfast had loads of options and was delicious. From valet and check-in to the porter, poolside dining, breakfast buffet, and housekeeping, every staff member was professional, caring, and friendly. The customer service was exceptional.

We stayed at the Sofitel Broadbeach from Dec 28-30 2025, and the whole team was professional, friendly, and helpful. The dining was a highlight, from a great 'basic' burger to an incredible Wagyu steak, and the bar cocktails were top-tier. Our Superior Room was spacious and well-appointed. We also loved the pool area: both pools stayed sunny and relaxing all day, unlike many nearby hotels where buildings block the sun. There was a small hiccup recording my car registration for car park access at the start, but it didn't spoil a fantastic end-of-year stay. Highly recommended.
