Surfers International Gold Coast Accommodation

We paid a lot to stay here for our holiday, then management arranged for someone to dump rubbish into a trailer at 6am. It woke the whole building, and I’m sure the neighbours too. Management showed no sense at all.

The beachfront rooms are hard to beat, and the shops are an easy walk away. There’s a patrolled beach across the road and entertainment just a stone’s throw away. We stayed again recently and were just as happy: friendly staff and a perfect location. Highly recommend.

Jackie was lovely to deal with, both over the phone and in person, and we paid directly. The apartment was secure, with secure parking underneath, and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The bed was comfortable too. We stayed for three nights, right in the middle of everything, with Surfers Paradise’s main road, the beach, beach volleyball and night markets in view. Everything central is within walking distance. The ocean view was so good that the small TV barely mattered. The floor was a little dirty and dusty, probably from being so close to the ocean. Still, an amazing getaway spot.

Parking was very secure, the location was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. But the place really needed a clean. There was a dead roach in the lift all week. In the room, the curtains were filthy, the shower vent was caked in dust, and the bathroom door had what looked like urine splatter on the back. Paint was peeling off large areas of the bathroom walls. The fridge was sticky, needed a proper clean, and wouldn’t shut properly, so I had to check it every time. There was only a sheet on the mattress, with no protector, which felt a bit icky. I know things can rust near the sea, but the clothes airer was so rusty it stained clothes. It shouldn’t be left in the apartment, and the balcony isn’t a great place to store it either.
