We’re already talking about coming back to Waterford on Main Beach. Our family of four spent 10 nights there over Christmas and had a great time. Emma at reception was warm and welcoming, and the apartment had incredible views. The spa bath was a standout, and there were plenty of towels. The kitchen was well equipped, including a Nespresso machine and starter pods. We also appreciated having smart TVs with Foxtel, so there was no need to Chrome cast. Surfers Paradise was an easy walk, the theme parks were close, and Birdcage dinning was a fantastic restaurant nearby. There’s a bus out front that the kids used to get to Pacific fair, and the tram was an 8-10-minute walk away. We’ve stayed in plenty of Gold Coast places, but Waterford is our pick for future holidays. Definitely recommend it.

It was easy to leave the car behind, with cafes and shops close enough to walk to. The rooms were lovely, and I could happily have stayed longer just looking out at the beach and the park beside the river. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I saw them working hard for guests throughout our family stay.

The unit layout worked really well for the four of us, and we were already planning next year's holiday before this one was over. We’ll definitely be back to Waterford. We loved watching the view change from early morning through the day and into the evening. Emma and Damien’s hospitality made the holiday feel perfect. Thanks again, Emma and Damien. The views were lovely, but the apartment felt dated and poorly maintained, and it didn’t live up to the price or the expectations set by the website. The air conditioner dripped onto the carpet, so we couldn’t use it in the main bedroom. There were holes in a door where a hook had come out, with no repair, and a cupboard was full of spare and broken parts. The towel charges also felt greedy. You get one bath towel per person, and need to pay extra for a hair towel. Pool towels cost $5 each, even for a one-day stay. I wouldn’t return.

Our apartment’s views were breathtaking each morning, and it was beautiful inside. The amenities had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was so friendly and made us feel at home, going out of her way to help us. The location was ideal for getting to the beach and nearby attractions, and the building felt modern and well maintained. My daughter stayed in the penthouse and loved it just as much. We had a brilliant experience from start to finish, and The Waterford would make a relaxing, memorable base on the Gold Coast.
