It's a gated place and feels safe, less than a ten-minute walk to the rail. The hotel is a bit old and close to the beach. There's one bedroom and one toilet, plus a washing machine and dryer, which made doing laundry convenient. Outside, you can cook, and there's a kitchen with a fridge, plates, bowls and cutlery. The room has a queen bed, with two singles by the dining area. Both single mattresses were hard to sleep on. There's just one air conditioner, tucked in the far corner of the living room by the sliding door. We weren't there in summer, luckily, as the bedroom has no air conditioning and might get hot.

The rooms are really nice and the location is wonderful, but the manager and staff are what make this place fantastic. Management are genuinely nice, helpful and understanding. Thanks for making our stay so good. We'll definitely remember to book here again when we're around.

There are surveillance cameras aimed into the rooms of the hotel next door. The hotel says they're there to stop people throwing things onto the roof, but filming people through their room windows has to be a bad way to handle that.

We paid $450 a night, and the shower only stayed hot for a few minutes before turning cold. They also refused to return my $100 deposit simply because there were clean dishes in the dishwasher. Ridiculous treatment. I'll never stay here again.

The only real positives were the location and being allowed to check in early. The apartment was outdated and had no accessibility for elderly guests. We got just one towel for the whole stay. It was advertised as a two-bedroom place with a queen and two single beds, but one of the singles was only a mattress on the floor, uncomfortable and unacceptable. There was no bedroom AC, just inadequate plug-in fans. The bathroom lights also flickered, which could be a trigger for people with epilepsy or light sensitivity. Quite disappointing and not what we expected.
