The mattress was the big letdown. It was cheap, flat and worn, with the metal springs and edge band easy to feel, and no support or cushioning. I kept feeling like I was leaning to one side. Sleep is the whole point of booking a room, and they’ve missed what a comfortable rest takes. I own several Air-bnbs, and when someone says “I slept Great!” in a review, I know that money spent on a premium mattress has helped bring back a customer. I’m no The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, but even I know you can get a Queen size 7 zone spring and memory foam pillow top mattress delivered for about $350. Would I stay again? It depends on how much comfort matters. There’s plenty to like here too. Great location near food, plus a BAKERY at the front that you’ll visit many times. The spinach Quiche and Flat white coffee made an amazing breakfast. The rooms have recently refurbished bathrooms with a fresh, modern, spacious look and flick mixer tap-ware. They also have A/C, a fridge, microwave, Netflix, fresh carpet and tidy decor. Parking’s right outside the door, and it’s good value.

The staff are lovely, and the owners were happy to arrange a late arrival. The rooms are well furnished and appointed, and it’s always a pleasure to stay here. Clean, welcoming and very comfortable.

We arrived after hours, and the text with instructions for getting the key was easy to follow. The room was tidy, clean and comfortable. Thanks again, I’d definitely stay here another time.

Handy location, and it was quiet and clean. The room was large and had a microwave.

The room was clean, spacious and well equipped. The electric blanket was especially welcome. It’s affordable too, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. A great find for travelling, with easy motorway access, a fabulous bakery attached that opens at 5 am, and two service stations close by.
